Hi folks: I've just obtained a complete list of all Bells born/christened in Fife from around 1650 thru to 1865, originating in Scotland's Old Parish Records. There are about 2,750 births and christenings, and roughly 4,500 names of parents. If you're hunting for a Bell from Fife in the OPRs, send me the given name, rough birth date and I'll take a look. There are no Bealls there, and no solid connections to Col. Ninian, as far as I can make out. The OPRs start up just a tad after he left town. But if you trace back to Largo, I've got the Bells.
