Beall's book, he mentions General William Beall, b. 1790, as having a son, John R. Beall, of Birmingham, Alabama. John was born 1833 which would put him in the right time frame. FMMB doesn't mention John R. Beall's wife's name. John R. Beall according to FMMB died in Nashville, TN in 1917. FMMB has many errors, so I would take this information as clues to what may be out there and try to independently verify it. I hope you discover that John R had a son John E! I try to keep my database up through the year 1800, so if in the course of your research you discover anything that goes back into the 1700s, please let me know. Jack day
