William Beal, born 1825, Pa. Married to a Mary, born 1833, Wisconsin. Listed on a 1860 census, Yolo-Yuba Co. California, with four childern. Childern living with William and Mary 1860: #1 Alice Beal born -- 1854, California. Married: Alexander ( A.C. ) Pratt # 2 William Russell Beal -- born Febuary 2,1857, California ( my grt. grandfather ) Married: Mary Irene Cora Anderson # 3 Adaline ( Addie ) Beal -- born 1858-1859, California. Married: Hayden- Hadden # 4 Henry Newton --- born September 9, 1858, California. Married: Ellen Sabrine. On Henry's death certificate it states his mothers name a Gabriella Evans, born Kentucky, with fathers name as William L. Beal, born Pa. The family thinks Henry may of been a half brother. Or that Gabriella, could be a Mary Gabriella??? Have lots of information on Beal line from 1860 forward. And also, pictures that date back from 1870 forward. Of Alice, Adaline, William Russell and Henry. Have found on pictures that the name has been spelled, Beil, Beall, Beal, and Beals. Have traced them in California and Nevada. It is said that Our William and Mary died between 1861-1870, leaving the childern orphaned. Have lots of documentation on the childern. Thanks for any help on this line Karen Hartley
