G1767 m. in Frederick Co. his first cousin Amelia Jane Beall, (B-ALEX-231-6), dau of Samuel Beall, Jr, & Eleanor Brooke, b. 1747 (Griffin), Washington Co., MD, d. after 1812, Hagerstown , Washington Co, MD. She inherited resurvey on Good Will, called Millseat, running through a stream called North West Branch." "Records of deeds executed by Thaddeus indicate that he and Amelia lived as "Planters" in that part of Frederick County which became Montgomery County in 1776...thus the same general area as their parents." (McLean, p 28). 28 Aug 1772 Thaddeus Beall of Fred Co for £100 conveys lot in town of Frederick to Jacob Hesse. (FCLO U3). Revolution. Thaddeus was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Frederick County, MD, Militia on July 3, 1776 (Maryland Archives Vol. XI, folio 544). 2d Lieutenant, 1st MD Batallion of the Flying Camp, Jul - Dec 1776; Brigade Major to General Beall in September, 1776. In Continental Army, 1776; in corresp of the Maryland council of Safety, a 2nd Lieutenant in the Company of Captain Edward Burgess, Wednesday Jul 3, 1776. In 1777, 1778 deeds, lived Montgomery Co. 12 Apr 1777 Thaddeus Beall, late of Fred but now of Montg Co, to John Gilbert, late of Fred but now of Montg, merchant in Georgetown, Lot #10 for £255. Amelia, wife, waived dower. (MCLO A:38) 12 May 1777 Thaddeus aptd Captain (Archives of Md 16:373) North Carolina . "By November 20, 1779, a Montgomery County deed recites them to be 'of Guilford County, North Carolina." Amelia's sister Verlinda & brother in law William Dent accompanied them to NC. In 1790 Census, Guilford County, NC. Georgia. 1794 moved to Greene County, Georgia; Thaddeus lived Warren County, GA at his death 1808 (FMMB) or 1815. 1.
