I keep seeing a lot about Ninian Beall. I don't know if my Beals/Bales are related in any way to him. I've been so frustrated with this line! It's been so difficult to trace anything. I've only gotten back about 4 generations. I keep hitting brick walls. So, I stop working on it for a while and start working on other lines. I've found a ton on everything except the Beals/Bales. I'm sure that mine were Quakers because they lived in parts of the country where Quakers were very prevalent---until they moved to Illinois. I think that they were kicked out for marrying outside of the faith though and moved away. I know they came from TN, before that I don't know. My John Bales/Bayles/Beals/Bails/Bailes came to Indiana and married Roda Keller and then they moved to Shelby County, IL. Nancy
