I am looking for information on an ancestor named David Beall (or Bell). David is purported to be the father of Mary Beall (or Bell) who married Fergus Hall of Iredell/Rowan Co., NC. Fergus was born about 1772 and was the son of Thomas Hall and Elizabeth Sloan. Fergus migrated to Bedford Co., TN in the early 19th century. He seems to have married Mary sometime before 1800 in NC, although I have not been able to find a listing of their marriage. Legend has it that David is descended from Col.
