Hello, list members, do any of you have ancestors that were in MS, around Warren County during the early 1800's. I know my line originated in Virginia. I have Amelia (sometimes Permelia) Beale (their spelling)b. c. 1800 marrying William Brown 1818 in Warren County MS. In 1828 she married John A Stringer and subsequently moved to Pulaski Co KY. She had one son by William Brown, a John Beale Brown. The family shows in the 1850 census. She states 44 yrs of age in 1850 but following her through the subsequent censuses she had a tendency to fib. Probably born c. 1800, not 1806. Can anyone help. This has been dangling for two years.
