Take care. Guess this works in all > situations. > >Marilyn Thanks to Marilyn for sharing this AOL hint, which will work for all AOL users. I personally use Netscape, so it doesn't work *exactly* that way for me. I always "cut and paste" addresses. First, you always want to check out the address first, before sending it on. *Especially* to a list! (Ask me privately how embarrassing it can be to skip this step!) If it shows up in blue, you can just click on it. Secondly, once you're there, remember to bookmark it. With Netscape, you can file the bookmark in the categories you have set up, or just add it to the end of your list, and categorize later. Then select the URL (I just have to put my 'pointer' anywhere in the address and click), and copy. You can use your menu, or just <control> C. Third, click back to your email program (you don't have to close the browser), open up a new message, and paste (menu, or <control> V). Viola! It won't show up clickable in Netscape mail; I don't know about other programs. But when sent, it will be clickable. Cutting and pasting from messages will work just as well, if you are 100% sure that it is a reliable address you are sending on! Oh, the key to having the URL clickable -- is to properly type the beginning of the addy. See.....http://www.fake address.com......oops, the space! See what that does? Put in an underline -- http://fake_address.com, and it works fine. Well, enough about cutting and pasting for tonight!!! Valorie
