It traveled accross the Atlantic Ocean settling in the Massachusetts area then Migrated to Westchester County, NY. A Family member was part of the NY Militia that served in the Revolutionary War fighting against the British. This is interesting information Because I knew Marcus Baxter, beget Gideon Baxter, who beget John Baxter, who beget Everett W. Baxter, who beget Ferris Jaycox Baxter, who beget Ernest W. Baxter, (my dad), to me your writer. I thought we were primarily a Putnam Valley/Phillipstown, Putnam County, NY Family.
