Baxter and Sally Short were my gr-grandparents. Yes, they were the parents of Lucy Baxter. There has not been any mention of Lucy having a twin, although there are concflicting birthdates for Lucy and a sister Fannie (possible nickname) Will check in to it. There were 10 children born to James E. Baxter and Sally Short. Thomas was born in Texas, possibly Denton County. He is buried in the Senora Cem. in Henryetta, Ok.
