Hi, I have been researching my BAXTER family for a number of years but I've been unable to find the location in the UK 1851 census of my great great grandfather William BAXTER. Can any list member help me, has anyone spotted him in any records that they have searched through? He was: William BAXTER, born 1831, Wednesbury, Staffordshire, UK; christened 30 January 1831, St.Editha Parish Church, Polesworth, Warwickshire married Eliza SHARRAD, 27 September 1853, St. Nicholas Parish Church, Nuneaton, Warwickshire Emma LESTER, 26 December 1881, Attleborough Died 15 September 1894, Attleborough, Warwickshire William was a platelayer (US = Linesman) for the Midland Railway and in plain theory he could have been anywhere in the UK.
