The oldest Baxter I have on her side is: Thomas Baxter, (great grandfather) born 1811 in TN, married to Patience Pathion abt 1834; died bef 1870. His son Lafayette born 1849, Arkansas was her grandfather. He married Carolin Cordelia "Callie" Young. Callie remarried after "Fate's" death. She married a one legged man with a last name of Ernest. Callie ran a cafe in Spirle, Ok. I am told. Her dad: William Baxter, Arkansas August 14, 1884; died Nove 27, 1965. My mother: Rachel Baxter born nove 5, 1925 On another family line of the Goff's (my dad's line) I have a: William Goff born 1605; married Martha Baxter abt 1641; her father was Roger Baxter born abt 1596, England.
