I am hitting a brick wall in my search and wondered if you may have seen any of my Baxters in your research. My grandfather is Clyde Maurice Baxter and his father was James. James' wife was Vera and Clyde was married first to verna Mayhugh and then to Hazel Vannest. I know my father and grandfather lived in various places in Ohio including Athens, Pomeroy, and Marion. I now live in Columbus, Ohio. Wouldn't it be interesting if we were related? I will ask my father if Arthur is a name he remembers.
