I looked up William Baxter in New Brunswick, Canada, as a lot seemed to have settled there and came up with 8. You can see the info at http://archives.gnb.ca/Archives/EN/default.aspx. Click on "Government Records" and then on RS141 Vital Statistics and type in the name. I hope this helps.
