Their daughter Rebecca Baxter married John Hoard July 11, 1810 in Jessamine County, Kentucky; she was born about 1790 and died May 10 or 19, 1834 in Jefferson County, Indiana. John Hoard was born in Shady Grove, Caroline County, Virginia about 1783 and died after 1860. Rebecca was buried in the Pisgah Church Cemetery, Graham TWP, Jefferson County, Indiana. Other children were James Baxter Jr. who married 1. Nancy ? and 2. Emily Whitsett and William Baxter born 1797 who married Mahala ?. James Baxter and Deborah Westervelt are my great, great, great, great, great grandparents.
