He married Susan and had a son David in 1836. David Baxter married Ann Rabbats and had a son Henry. Henry married Emily Clark and had son Leonard Stuart Baxter who was born in West Ham and then the family was in London in Balham, Battersea and Clapham area. Looking for the following in 1870 US Census: Nathaniel Arters/Arthur 1850 age 9, 1860 age 16 George Arters/Arthur 1850 age 7, 1860 age 15 Richard Arters/Arthur 1850 age 4, 1860 - not there William A. Arters/Arthur 1850 - not there, 1860 age 13 Note: Richard and William A. could be one in the same. But not proven as of yet. Need to find where they are so I can find there mother Mary Margaret "Maime" BAXTER Arters/Arthur. 1850 - age 40, 1860 - age 56 so should be about 60 something. All are living in District 4, Braxton County, VA. in 1850 except William A. All are living in Sandrun P.O., Webster County, VA. in 1860 except Richard. Mary(age 70) is living in Fork Lick District, Webster County, WV. with son William Arthur(age 33) in 1880. Mary should be widowed. Husband William Randolph Arters/Arthur died in 1863.     3. I guess what I am wondering is that on 1850 it states Richard age 4 and on 1860 it states William A. age 13. Are these the same two boys??? or were there actually two different ones? I know William Randolph died in 1863 or so, does anyone know where Mary Margaret "Maime" BAXTER Arthur is in 1870??? 1860 she is in Webster County, VA. and in 1880 she is in Fork Lick District, Webster County, WV with son William. Would love to know about 1870 should be about age 66 or so. Can you help me?? Thanks, Faith

    3. Hello All, I am trying to update my computer and was going through the census records that I have on the following Arthur's. I am wondering if anyone knows for sure how many children Mary Margaret "Maime" BAXTER Arthur had and what there names are? The names I have below are from census records and I am not sure if they are correct. Can someone help? It doesn't help that so many generations have the same names in the family. 1. William Randolph ARTHUR - 93. Born 1807 in Randolph County. Died 1863 in Webster County. He married Mary Margaret "Maime" BAXTER - 94, 26 Nov 1840 in Braxton. Born 1805/1810 in Bath County, VA. Died 1885. They had the following children: 2 i. Mary Margaret ARTHUR - 67 ii. Nathaniel C. ARTHUR - 170; Born About 1843/1844 in Braxton, VA. iii. George L. ARTHUR - 171; Born About 1844/1845 in Braxton, VA. iv. William Anderson ARTHUR - 172; Born About 1846/1847 in Braxton, VA. v. Richard ARTHUR - 379; Thank you in advance, Faith

    3. The only child I have for William and Margaret Cook Baxter is Eunice Baxter b 19 Aug 1714 or 1724. My info says William was b abt 1695 in Scotland. He was married, Eunice was born and he died in Nantucket. Eunice married into one of my husband's major lines, the Husseys. Hopefully down the road we can help each other.
