I am looking for information on the Friedl's from Germany. Josef Friedl left his home in Langdorf in the Bavarian Forest region on Germany in the early Fall of 1880. He travelled to Bremen and there he boarded the steamship "Leipzig" and set sail for America. He landed in Baltimore on Oct. 21, 1880. He travelled to St. Paul MN where he lived for 12 years. In 1887 he married Mathilda Fischer. In 1882 he moved with his family to a farm near Albany, MN. Josef was born of Feb. 13, 1849 in Langdorf, Germany. His father's name was also Josef Friedl born 1-9-1820. He married Katherina Heilingbrunner on March 2, 1851. I would like to find any descendant of this family. I would also like to find Josef's mothers name and any sibling he may have had. Thanks for your time, Paula
