    3. Would like to connect with any researcher who may be studying the families of FISCHER and of URMAN. Mathilda FISCHER was born March 13, 1855 in Grafanau to Joseph and Katherine (URMAN) Fischer. This couple had atleast one more son, name unknown that immigrated to the USA around 1880 and ended up in St. Paul. Would love to find out who he is and if there are any other children. Joseph Fischer was a foreman for a carpentery crew in the area and he ended up passing away in the early 1880's. The widow Katherine and daughter Mathilda came to the USA in 1882. Unfortunately I have not been able to find them on any passenger lists. Anyway, they to came to MN, the St. Paul area to live with the brother who had immigrated here several years before. According to an interview with Mrs. Mathilda Fischer Friedl in 1938, she stated that Joseph and Katherine where born and married in the area. However, no dates or localities were given. I would assume the couple married in the late 1840's to early 1850's. Would love to find a copy of the marriage certificate. Any help or suggestion as to where to search would be most appreciated. Thanks, Paula
