    1. [BAVARIA] Searching Census records in Ancestry
    2. I use wildcards a lot. Let's say I'm looking for WOERLE, WOERL, or WOEHRL. I'd enter the first name (And* for Andreas or Andrew) and the first three letters of the last name with wildcard "WOE*". If that gave me too many names, I'd also enter the birth location. I still have had a lot of trouble with 1930. I know where my people are, they're just not in Ancestry's index. This has happened enough that I'm starting to wonder if it is Ancestry. Don't know, though, they may have just gotten missed. Were you looking only or 1930 Nebraska or also earlier Nebraska (pre-1910)? With regards to my earlier post, I thought maybe Bavaria had an indexed census during the mid-1900's. Did they? Would I need to know where my ancesters lived exactly?
