Here is what I know. My GGGGrandfather is John (Johan) Christen (Christian) SCHINNERER. He is reported to have arrived in the US from Bavaria around 1850-1852. I have not yet been able to verify this information. I have not had time to search ship records as yet and I know that locating him in Germany will take finding info about his town or village that he was from...and I have not yet had the time to spend researching that aspect.... What I am looking to see is if anyone a SCHINNERER in their tree that they have had any problems finding info for? John C. SCHINNERER's death certificate lists his mother and father as Margarethe or Margaretha and David. John C. was born in Sept 1822 according to his death certificate. Thanks Gail Jorgensen
