Hello Pauline: The town still has the same name today, and is located northeast of Bad Mergentheim in Baden-Wuerttemberg. You can find it at maps.expedia.com or other online map service. LDS has filmed the evangelical church books, 1556-1876. If you go to google and enter "Schaftersheim Kirchen" (umlaut over the "a") there are several sites mentioning the churches, but all are in German.
