Hello List: I am a newbie researching the above names. I have a family bible from Thierstein, Franken Oben, Bavaria, Germany that lists my first known ancestor of this line, George Nicol ARZBERGER changed to ARTZBERGER once in this Country. He was confirmed at the Evan Lutheran in Thierstein. He made confirmation about 1855 and also married Anna Margaretha BAUER of same area and church membership whose father, George BAUER came to USA along with her, mother unknown, must have been deceased before this time. Anyone having common ties, please do respond. I found a Starke Genealogy index at Rootsweb that claims it has a publication that contains information about Austrian/Germany nobility connected w/ the Arzberger surname. Am thinking about ordering but it doesn't list a price for the book.
