I am researching an individual that I can find no trace of except in the 1890 St Louis City directory, his name Victor Hugo Helbig, my question, would there be any deviation of the given names?

I know of people who spell the last name another way. Have you looked at the LDS site??????The US 1890 census is the one that burned so no help in that direction.I would go look at the Mormons ,they will have a surprising amount of info, maybe the best in the world.' Stormy
