I am looking for information on relatives of mine who lived in or near Munich before and during World War II. The information I have is: My great-grandfather, Albert Friedrich Kurth was born in Berlin-Spandau in 1861 and came to the USA in the 1880's. Albert had a brother, Wilhelm Kurth (1865-1933). Wilhelm had a daughter, Luci (1892-1958) who married Wilhelm Schneidt. I don't have any further information on Wilhelm Schneidt except a reference in some old family letters that say he was an "Upper Federal Employee" in Munich. Wilhelm and Luci Schneidt had the following children: 1. Liesl Schneidt. Liesl married Hans Kohorn and they immigrated to the USA probably in the 1930's. 2. Fritz Schneidt. Served in the German military during World War II and died a prisoner in Russia. Unfortunately, I don't have birth or death dates for him or know what unit he may have served in, so I do not have any further information on him. 3. Friedl, married Wilhelm Russwurm. Does anyone have information on these people? I have some information on the Kurth family from Berlin going back a few generations, but am interested in finding more information on this branch of the family as well. Thanks Paul
