I checked for John Bohn in 1850 New York. Only one I found was 37 years old and married to a Barbara (40). They had a daughter named Barbara (2). He was a shoemaker from Germany. Could be him and an earlier marriage? Just thought I'd send it over anyway. That is very kind of you! John immigrated in 1849, but I am not sure when his wife came to America. They had their first child in 1852 so it had to be prior to that. I would appreciate it if you would see if you can find any information of her on your cd's. Her name was Catherine. Her last name was listed as Schwartz-Miller, in one place and Miller in another. She was born 8/19 1829 in Bavaria. I don't know of any other Bohns or Millers that might have immigrated in that time period, that were related to John or Catherine Thanks for your help!
