Looking for any Swiger (Schweiger, Swigert, Swager, Swaggert, etc) connections in Bavaria. Information I have is that John William and Mary Swiger came from Bavaria in 1755 to Loudoun County, VA. They later settled in the Doddridge/Harrison Counties area of VA (now WV). I am a direct descendant of them through 2 of their children (my great-grandfather was connected directly to their son, Jacob. His wife (my great-grandmother) was a direct descendant of their daughter Elizabeth. A close friend of mine is a direct descendant of Christopher, who is believed to have been born in Bavaria about 2 yrs. before they sailed from Hamburg. I'm an 8th descendant of John and Mary.
