    3. I'd like to add Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas to the list of "wide open spaces." If you've ever had to drive through any of them, you'll know what I mean. It takes a REALLY long time to drive from end-to-end in one of these states, and they sure do grow a lot of corn and other crops there!!! And they are very, very flat. (Apologies to anyone from these states; not meant as a "dig," just my impression).
