    3. Okay, I have to try one more time. You have the email address that this person gave you to use? Am I correct? You can't type it into the To: box because you can't type this one character, is that correct? If so, open your WORD(Microsoft Word) program and on that nice, clean, new, white page type the person's email address as they gave it to you. When you come to typing this new character stop, and click on INSERT (up on the top bar) then click on SYMBOL. Find the carat and click on it and then click on Insert at the bottom of the window and the symbol will pop into your address that you are typing just where you want it. Let me give you an example, SirMudmore^@lobnet.com As you see here, what you have typed will come up in blue and underlined. All you have to do then is double-click on it and there will be your CREATE MAIL window ready for you to write your email letter in with the address already in place...and off it goes. I sure hope this helps solve your problem. Narda P.S. If you are using WORD PERFECT, they also have a list of symbols. On my list, at least, there is no such symbol as you need, but Microsoft Word does have the correct symbol. ----- Original Message ----- From: <GilMarlin@aol.com> To: <BAVARIA-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, June 05, 2005 5:08 PM Subject: Re: [BAVARIA] Heinlein > just tried, didn't work but thanks for the suggestion > > > ==== BAVARIA Mailing List ==== > Have you consider the volunteering of transcribing parish records to be added to WorldGenWeb Archives for others to research? > Contact mailto:dsam@sampubco.com?subject=transcribing_records
