    3. John, Sorry. I realized tonight I hadn't responded to you request for help. I will be happy to look for specific records for you, but not for every instance of Merkle, Heilman and Mehring. There will be just far too many. Perhaps you can look at familysearch.org and let me know which records you'd like. I will not be returning to the FHC very soon. I'll be traveling for a while. They are holding on to the film for me, however, and I should be able to return to my research before the end of April. My FHC is nearly an hour and a half a way. Time is more critical to me than the cost of the copies Please e-mail me directly and not through the list.
