    3. Thank you for your reply, Beth, I've tried the more direct approach---logging directly on to any existing BUSSE related websites---but haven't had any luck with the name and it's modern spelling on the internet. If my BUSSE has any alternate spellings and/or affixed words, I am not aware of it at this time. However, I am chasing down any/all leads that might lead me in my search to connect with my German (formerly West German) BUSSE relatives, including the "von Busse" diminutive, suggested to me earlier. My Deutsch wife (Dagmar Busse Jones) passed away seven years ago (1952-1998). Unfortunately my son and I are now left with extremely little information for which to go on. Any further suggestions toward my search approach will be humbly appreciated. Thanks sincerely, Richard :-) On Mon, 29 Aug 2005 22:26:07 -0500 "Dave or Beth Arnott" <dsarnott@execpc.com> writes: > Hi Richard, > > We need some dates to help us help you out. 3. Hello, the "von Busse" are a large noble family in Germany. Originally I think from Westfalen. (I think my wife is somehow related.) - I couldn't find Busse in the information I have on Aschaffenburg. (But then I don't have all.) However, from your mail I believe that you are looking at 20th century dates. These records are *NOT* filmed (as data protection laws probably still apply). The only way to get further there would be to contact the city of Aschaffenburg and prove that you are directly related. Regards Stefan
