Hi Researchers, I'm just starting to look for my JOSEPH PLENDL (1850-1931) in Germany. He immigrated to Dane Co. Wisc. in1869 from Regensburg, Bavaria according to ship record. By 1878 he and wife JOSEPHINE KNABL moved to Plymouth Co. Iowa. According to family members he was adopted by the Plendl family. The oldest member of that family in America came form STRAUBING. Question: Any suggestions where I might find Straubing Church records? I ordered the only Family History Tapes I could find, but they are for directories. Any help would be appreciated. JoAnn
