Hi Beth, Thanks. I am so excited. So the records are saying that Helena was born in Rotenburg too. I could never find anything that said where she was born. I didn't know her parents first names either. Did her family have a title? Or is it just an old family story. I heard that she had "airs" about her family. Thanks so much for your help. Beth, Did your source give any better description than "Rotenburg, Germany", and is it an American record or a more reliable spelling from a German document? I know you are well aware of the similar spellings such as Rotenberg, Rothenburg, and Rothenberg that American documents often get wrong.
