    3. Thank you so much. So it must contain a clue of some sort. The date means nothing to me in my records. So I'll have to get this thing translated. Again, thank you! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Rauck" <rauck@gmx.ch> > Glückwunsch means "congratulation". > Michael

    3. Dear Margaret and Randy, If there is more German script which you cannot make out, a good solution is to contact a local high school, college or university and see if they have an experiecend German-speaking person on staff. Or even a student. Also, try your local Family History Center (also known as LDS). Another avenue is a local genealogy group and/or a historical society. You never know where you may find a person who could help you out. Good Luck! 3. Thank you so much - I will try that avenue. Never considered that. The script, wihle beautifully done, is impossible for me to even try to type out to look up the words. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave or Beth Arnott" <dsarnott@execpc.com> > Dear Margaret and Randy, > > If there is more German script which you cannot make out, a good solution is > to contact a local high school, college or university and see if they have > an experiecend German-speaking person on staff.
