    2. Linda, I have the Geyer family in my family tree. They came from a small village called Kefenrod which is located in Hesse. It is about 65 KM from Frankfort au Main. I don't know if there is a match here but it might be worth pursuing. Ray Scheller

    3. Ray, This is what I have: John Geyer - spouse Catherine Kapler. Their son was John James Geyer born January 1845 in Bavaria (exact town as yet to be learned). He was a tanner/bootmaker. He married Rose Foneur (I'm not sure of the spelling) who was born in Switzerland. They had my grandfather John Francis Geyer who was born in Kimmelsbach on November 28th, 1877 (or so). Naturalization papers say that my Grandfather came to the US (Boston) 1879. He also had several sisters. Does any of this sound like your Geyer line? Walter told me that Kimmelsbach is now part of Bundorf and I see from the map that Bundorf is only 2 hours away from Frankfort.
