Hello list.. Made a breakthrough discovery today of the ancestral town(s?) of my HARTMANN ancestors. In a marriage record for sisters Genevieve and Magdenlena HARTMANN, Reistenhausen, Bavaria is listed as place of birth. In different records for Genevieve, this is followed by Aschaffenburg, prope(?). Their parents are listed as KILIANI HARTMANN and MARIA OTTING or MARIA ANNA ORT (presumably the same mother?). I have found Reistenhausen with a name change in after the 1920s to Collenburg. On a different historical map, it looks as if Aschaffenburg is a whole region of Bavaria, and I'm now not sure if Aschaffenburg is a single town. Does anyone on list have any knowledge of these places who could help clarify the connections, and thus where I should look for records? Thanks in advance.... Noreen Alexander Manzella
