    3. ADVERTISE???? Ok this is the second time I have been chastised for trying to help. I Have not charged even ONE TIME for doing all these fotos and I have never had any formal training in this area. I have worked hard to get where I am and I have done it myself by helping others. A trait that obviously has gone by the wayside in today's society. Nothing in life is free. I can't afford to go to school to learn this, so I thought by offering to do this for other people and using tutorials I find on the web, I could practice so that in time I can offer this service on my website. And yes, at that time I would charge for it. But advertising was not what I had in mind when I ask for old fotos to practice with. I have freely told anyone that ask what program I am using and sent links to the tutorials. Not a very smart marketing strategy if I am doing this to advertising my business! I get a lot of emails every day with people asking for help or sending fotos for repair. Some I can help, some I can't but I always answer every email in a polite and timely manner. It is unfortunate that someone would see this as a manipulative action. Your complaint is nullified. I allowed it, as listadmin Sharon Rhodes wrote: > The rootsweb lists are not the proper place to advertise for your > business. 3. Pamela, I know how much time an patience it takes to redo old photos. I taught myself as well. I think you offer and service in doing this free of charge is admirable. Thanks to you for all the people you have already helped.
