Hello Listers, I am new to this list. I am researching a Maria Elisabeth Rausch. According to information received from a church that she attended in New York City, she was born in "Bruckenan" (sp?) in Bavaria. At her death in 1898, her age was listed as 58 years and she had been in the US for 51 years. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has Bavarian Rausch roots. Jackie Reiss

This is probably spelled "Bruckenau". The only Bruckenau (Bad Bruckenau) I was able to find is near Wiesbaden.
