Rauschensteig seems to be little more than a spot along the road between Röslau and Thiersheim, both of which are small villages (I think). ################################### I´ve found the place rated as a "village" in the county ( Landkreis ) of WUNSIEDEL in Oberfranken. The Catholic people belonged to the parish of Wunsiedel ( a town also ) and the Protestants belonged to the parish of Oberroeslau. In 1964 it had 53 inhabitants. I hope this helps some. Wilhelm
