    3. Hi, some time ago I asked for help on locating Frey Fischer in Neustadt, Bavaria. Mentioned it had a college or university. Was successful in finding it was Neustadt an der Weinstrasse, originally Haardt. According to a German Guide Book, this is a half timbered town at the foot of the Haardt hills, at the end of the sixteenth century, the Count Palatine Casimir established a Calvinist university here as a competitor to the Lutheran counterpart in Heidelberg. So it seems there at one time was a university, as our family tradition stated. But it was Winzingin they lived in, but it no longer is listed, now being part of Neustadt. Just wanted to get this cleared up. Again, thanks for the help. Mary Widener
