Hope someone can help me with this. My family comes from Germany and have a unique New Year tradition that we have passed down through our family. My question is: Is it a German tradition? On New Years Eve, Sal Poker comes and bring one gift Santa or Father Christmas forgot. Have no idea how it is spelled. We pronounce it Sal Poker. My family is LINEBERGER, VENDLING/WENTLING, SCHNEIDER/TAYLOR. JoAnne
