Hi, I just went to "ask.com" and asked about Hessian mercenaries. I learned that they included not only soldiers from Hesse, but from many areas of Germany including Bavaria (especially in Ansbach, I believe). I person named Schwalm has a web page dedicated to the Hessian mercenaries. Sr. Marjorie
