Dear Mary, Don't let old Scrooge ruin your dream! I'm a 68 yr. old Gramma who never held an office job, nor went to "higher education" and don't understand much of computer jargon, let alone map reading but I wouldn't quit the site for the world!!! I've learned so much from all the kind people here and you will, too! Forget the "know-it-all", "high and mighty" and hang in there with the rest of us. 99% of the people who are interested in genealogy are congenial! You just met up with someone in that 1%!!!
