Can someone tell me where Birkenhoerdt and Bollenborn are? The geoserver told me that Birkenhoerdt is in the Pfalz, Bavaria, and my later ancestor said he was b. in Bavaria. I guess what I'm asking is, what large city is Birkenhoerdt near? The geoserver did not find a Bollenborn. Bollenborn is where the ancestor above married his wife. Bollenborn is also supposed to be in the Pfalz, Bavaria. Anyone know where this place was? The two persons in questions are Francis BOLLINGER, b. 1790, and Elisabeth KLEM, chr 1794; they were married 1813. Was Francis a common pre-name (like Johann) in Bavaria at the time?
