I'm trying to locate info on Anton and Friedericke Lange Strasser of Bonn in 1796 and Koblenz by the Moselle in 1850. Xavier, their son, was born in Bonn 1796 and married Anna Maria May of Eltmann, Bavaria. They came to America via New Orleans in 1846 with 7 children: Jacob, Herman, Paul, Appolonia, Josephine, Sophie and Franciska, born 1831-1840 Wuerttemburg. I do know Xavier belonged to the St. John's United Church of Christ at his death in EVANSVILLE INDIANA in 1869. Anna Maria died there in 1888. They had a saloon, grocery and provisions store. His granddaughter Hattie was married by Julius Blass the minister of St. John's UCC in 1897 in Evansville. Please write if you know any Strassers anywhere.
