Just found a death record for a cousin of one of my Bavarian ancestors. He died in Munich, and the cause of death was "gewundet bei Wortch/fruhkrankheit" and continued: wurde bei Worth am 6t. August 1870 von eine kugel ?getauften?" (baptised by a bullet...???) Okay, I get the part that he was shot, but am missing something in the translation! Can anyone help? Also need to know what the occupation "leerhausler" means. It is not in the list of occupations that I have. Since leer means empty, is this saying that the person was idle, or without occupation?
