Hi list Still looking for these surnames. I was told last week that these names are from around the Black Forest area. I have been told that they were from Prussia, or Moravia, or Munich. My goodness what a variety. Can any one give me a hint as to what to believe and where to look. They evidently were Catholic and emigrated to Canada around 1860 through the port in Quebec and settled in Ontario. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and efforts.
