I have been told that my ggrandfather Matthew came from Germany (some said Bavaria, others Black Forest Area) with my ggrandmother Mary Josepha Thoma. They came to America via Switzerland in 1868. the gggrandparents Karrl & Katerina stayed behind. I would like to be able to find some info on them and their other children. Frank, Matthews brother came over with him at that time also. Matthew and Mary had 13 children: John (born in Germany), Wilhemina (Mina),Herman, Marie, Matthais, Katerina (Katy), Frank, George I,Mary Margaret,Anthony,Joe (Joseph), Matthew & Albert.
