Both sets of my great-grandparents came from "Bavaria". I can't find anything that narrows it down to a city/village. George BODENDORFER came to the USA in about 1850, I believe with a brother William, they settled in Muskegon, Michigan. George married Martha Elizabeth MOHR, they had 1 daughter Emma. George ROST also came from "Bavaria" & settled in Muskegon in 1869, I have a copy of his father's Intention Of Citizenship from Muskegon County--but he left this area for parts unknown, Where did Konrad ROST go--who was his wife--are we apart of anyone's family tree??
