    2. Dear Listers I, too, tried the Shtetlseeker to find "Jaegerleiten". No luck. Arthur Teschler's geoserv also had no Jaegerleiten. The closest thing I can find in my dictionary is "Jaegerlatein" for huntsmen's slang or tall stories. Wolfgang, can you tell us in what context you came across the word? If you think it is in Bohemia perhaps someone on the German-Bohemian list can supply an answer. If you find out, let us know. I am also interested to know how you locate this possible einöde.
