I am searching for church records for the village of Erlenbach. A place search at www.familysearch.org returns the following two results: Germany, Bayern, Erlenbach, (BA Germersheim) and Germany, Bayern, Erlenbach, (BA Kaiserlautem) Can anyone tell me the meaning of the terms inside the parentheses? Do Germersheim and Kaiserlautem identify different geographical jurisdictions, each of which include a village named Erlenbach? Or do they mean something else?
